What could be nicer than taking dinner on a train travelling through the countryside with the ever changing views?

'Waiter(ess) service’ is available all the way. A traditional, unhurried experience which is rarely experienced nowadays.

All trains, in both directions, have dedicated restaurant cars offering an impressive à la carte menu ( see specimen menus ) and a tempting wine list.

To further enhance the experience – aperitifs, coffee and later, liqueurs are offered.

" In the restaurant, whoever thought of the 'wine arrangement' deserves a pat on the back. 14.50 euro for a different glass of well-chosen wine with each course, starting with a crisp prosecco and ending in a lovely desert wine.
